Crypto markets, as well as traditional stock markets, saw quite a big decline due to the tension in the Middle East and the uncertainty caused by the closure of the Hormuz Strait. Normally, I would either short sell or move into stables, but thanks to Hyperliquid's HIP-3, RWAs such as gold, silver and especially oil, now present interesting hedge opportunities.
Since last Thursday, my play has been pretty much shorting $BTC (+some altcoins) and longing oil. Just today, I closed my crypto shorts, but I'm still keeping the oil long open, believing it should continue climbing higher as long as the Hormuz Strait remains closed.
Dreamcash
I'm sure many of you remember the massive Hyperliquid over a year ago. The thing is, Hyperliquid still has tokens reserved for the community, and although it remains speculative, there might be another drop in the future.
The cool thing about Hyperliquid is that you don't have to do your trading on the main app; instead, you can use different interfaces, which usually have a points program of their own. The volume generated still adds to your HL total volume. So basically, these are potential 2-in-1 airdrop opportunities.
After I recently finished with Based ($122 airdrop), I've moved to Dreamcash (ref code: R7FI8M), which is a very smooth HL interface offering spot, perps, HIP-3, and Cash markets.
The fees on Dreamcash aren't the cheapest ones, with 0.0450% / 0.0150% taker/maker, but when you do trade RWAs on the Cash market, you are eligible for a $200K USDT weekly price pool rewards based on your volume. Besides that, all markets earn you points, again based on the volume generated.
My Hard Times Strategy
As long as the turmoil in the Middle East continues, I believe oil prices will remain high, and it makes sense to keep on trading it and stay in the long position. Meanwhile, I'm doing these intraday crypto trades, also on Dreamcash, to generate as much volume and points as possible.
In the long run, it might take some time for the crypto markets to recover, so I've decided to put all my profits into stable strategies for the time being. - Swap some to $HYPE (HyperEVM uses $HYPE as gas)

Conclusion
Thanks to the RWAs now on-chain, it feels like we are now more in control and not entirely at the mercy of the volatile crypto markets. Now there are so many opportunities to hedge our portfolios - money always goes somewhere.
Many chains and protocols now offer stocks & RWAs, but for Hyperliquid & HyperEVM is the place to be. $HYPE is looking quite strong, with lots of interest and positive news. I do believe Hyperliquid is on its way to becoming the House of Finance, and I definitely want exposure on that.
