So a month passed and I felt it as a year. So many new concepts, so much more drawing and writing for me. Hive really makes me more productive as a person. Which is normal taking in mind my gamer nature and Hive's gamification with awards, power ups, contests and engagements quests.
I got a lot of help in my first month
It was an unexpectedly strong month! Thanks to , who introduced me to Hive and gave me what I needed at the right moment. Thanks to
and
for the newbie Initiative that got me so hyped after my momentary weakness and actually changed my mind from a probable quitter to someone who is enthusiastic enough to think about creating a new UX/UI design community. Thank to
for financially simulating me to make more and more quality content <3
So today's newbie task is to participate in the #HPUD / #HivePUD or Hive Power Up day.
What is #HPUD
It is a day, every first day of every month, when all participants power up as much as they can, stop powering down or selling Hive for 24 hours.
And for that you can actually win prizes in the form of delegation and more.
All we have to do is meet these requirements:
- Power up at least 10 Hive
- Write post about it and use #HivePUD tag

What did I do to Power Up
I almost had no free Hive to power up, but I had made some HBD. So I traded all my HBD on https://wallet.hive.blog/market
Then using my app I powered up from my wallet:
It was really easy and now I can proudly say that in my first month of hiving I reached these numbers:
Writing original content on @PeakD and , posting videos on
, participating in contests, initiatives, #poshing and #artshill -ing on hive and twitter and by just engaging with other users.
It is kinda cool, I think!
## What is next for me
My next tasks are:
- make my final post recapping my month in the newbie initiative.
- I have 10 more day to reach my goals that I set for 1 month period in my post here , I think I am gonna hit them in a few days.
- Start working on a new community about UX/UI design(this is my field of interest) and I think Hive would benefit from such a community.
Thank you for your time and have fun here!
