There isn't enough electrical infrastructure to build more charging stations.
We have a problem with the grid on hot days. To much load on the wires, not just power generation.
Think about that. We are using more than 100% power transmission on hot days. Now, try to charge EVs on that same transmission lines.
Soon, charging stations will be forced to shut down on hot days. So, not only do you have to plan for queues, but you will also have to plan for "black outs"
The only way a battery powered EV works out is if you charge, slowly, at night, when there is excess power generations AND power transmission capacity.
A trip in an EV gets even more treacherous.
