Hey everyone! Happy start to the week! I'm writing this from my office at the institute. I overslept and had to rush to the university! I stopped to buy a couple of coconut rolls, and let me tell you, they're addictive! Then I went back to my office and found out I'm going to have to postpone my lab session tomorrow. In short, I woke up ridiculously early only to end up doing absolutely nothing for the next few days. Well, since I'm alone in my office, I took the opportunity to write my weekly #MyHiveGoals summary while enjoying my coconut roll and a good cup of coffee.

The first thing that surprised me when I turned on my PC was the price of Hive, which had returned to its price from a month ago, exactly below $0.06. I was really excited last week when I saw the price take off at $0.09, but it was definitely a fleeting joy. However, as I mentioned before, I'd prefer the price to stay this low when it comes time to fund my Hive wallet. In fact, we're currently in a dispute to get a raise, and if we're successful and get one, I'll convert my fiat money to crypto as soon as I receive my first paycheck.

In any case, we'll continue growing in Hive as I have been doing these past two years. Consistency and dedication are the two principles that guide my steps on this wonderful blockchain. We've already seen that the token can rise dramatically from one day to the next, so there's no reason to think this was just a fluke or that it simply won't happen again.

Okay, if we look at the amount of liquid Hive we have today compared to a week ago, we'll see it's only changed by a few cents. For the past two weeks, I've been using the Hive Suite platform to microblog everything from my progress in Splinterlands to my work in the lab, and it's a good way to fill the necessary Hive to power up every 24 hours. I haven't microblogging as much as I'd like, because often I'm teaching or doing experiments, and I always forget to share what I'm doing with a photo. Perhaps when my teaching load is over, I'll be more active in this Web 3 layer on Hive.

Now, regarding HP, we have generated a good amount this week, ending with 124.73 HP, bringing our total to 9821 HP. At this rate, we will reach 10,000 HP by the end of May and will be only 2,000 HP away from our annual goal of 12,000 locked hives.

We've reached the part I've been waiting for! Finally, friends, I've reached 2,000 locked HBD. It's a secondary goal because my real objective for this year is to reach 2,300 HBD. But the highlight of this week is the badge we earned: Knight of Capital! That's why I preferred to collect the interest on the locked HBD today and not in the middle of last week, because we would have been just 1 HBD short of reaching the goal.

Along with the 23.6 HBD from interest, we add the 7.4 HBD from the week to reach a little over 2000 HBD. I honestly didn't think I'd generate more than 6 HBD this past week. Therefore, I decided to keep a full 1 HBD to buy some second-layer tokens like Decs (Splinterlands) and Starbits (Rising Star Game), which are Gamefi projects in which I'm very active.

Compared to last week, we've added more than 23 HBD to our Hive stablecoin savings. That's the magic of compound interest that this HBD savings mechanism offers. Of course, getting started is the hardest part, which is why discipline is so important, along with having clear goals and the conviction to achieve them. This is the result of over two years of work on the blockchain, and now we're starting to see the first fruits of all this effort. While we did achieve this special award, our annual goal remains a significant challenge. We haven't reached 2300 HBD halfway through the year, and with Hive's low price, this goal has become even more difficult. We'll see if the monthly APR interest helps us reach this challenging target.

Que tal comunidad! Feliz inicio de semana, estoy escribiéndoles estas líneas desde mi oficina en el instituto, me quedé dormido y tuve que salir corriendo a la universidad! Me detuve a comprar un par de panes recubiertos con coco y amigos es un verdadero vicio! Luego fui a mi oficina y me enteré que voy a tener que posponer mi práctica de laboratorio que sería mañana, en resumen me levante desaforadamente temprano para al final no hacer nada estos próximos días. Bien, ya que estoy solo en mi oficina, aproveché de hacer el resumen semanal de #MyHiveGoals mientras disfruto de mi pan con coco y una buena taza de café.

Lo primero que me sorprendió al encender el Pc fue el precio de Hive que volvió a su precio de hace un mes exactamente por debajo de los 0.06$ La verdad era que estaba muy entusiasmado la semana pasada cuando vi el precio despegar a los 0,09$ pero fue sin duda una alegría efímera, pero como les había dicho anteriormente preferiría que el precio se mantuviera así de bajo para cuando llegue el momento de fondear mi billetera de Hive. De hecho, justo ahora estamos en conflicto para que nos suban los salarios, si tenemos éxito y logramos un aumento, apenas cobre mi primer salario llevaré ese dinero fíat a cripto lo más pronto posible.

En cualquier caso, continuaremos creciendo en Hive como lo he estado haciendo estos últimos 2 años, constancia y dedicación esas son las 2 divisas que guían mis pasos en esta maravillosa blockchain. Ya vimos que el token pudo subir drásticamente de un día a otro, así no hay razones para pensar que esto fue solo casualidad o que simplemente no se va a repetir.

Ok, si vemos la cantidad de Hive líquido que tenemos hoy comparado con el de hace una semana, nos daremos cuenta que apenas vario unos pocos céntimos y es que desde 2 semanas he estado usando la plataforma de HiveSuit para hacer microblogging desde mi progreso en Splinterlands hasta de mi trabajo en el laboratorio y es una buena forma de completar los hive necesarios para hacer los power up cada 24 horas. No he hecho tanto microblogging como me habría gustado y es que en muchos casos o estoy dando clases o haciendo experimento y siempre olvido compartir las cosas que hago con una fotografía. Quizás cuando termine mi carga docente esté más activo en esta capa de la web 3 en Hive.

Ahora con respecto al HP, si que hemos generado una buena cantidad esta semana que terminó con 124.73 de HP para llegar a un acumulado de 9821 HP a este ritmo, llegaremos a los 10000 HP para finales de mayo y estaremos a solo 2000 HP de nuestra meta anual de 12000 Hive bloqueados.

Llegamos a la parte que más estaba esperando! Finalmente amigos, he logrado llegar a los 2K de HBD bloqueados, es una meta secundaria porque realmente mi objetivo para este año es llegar a los 2300 HBD. Pero el detalle de esta semana es la insignia que hemos ganado: Knight of Capital! Por eso preferí cobrar los intereses de los HBD bloqueados hoy y no a mitad de la semana pasada porque íbamos a quedarnos a solo 1 HBD de llegar a la meta.

Junto a los 23.6 HBD de los intereses sumamos los 7.4 HBD de la semana para llegar a un poco más de 2000 HBD, la verdad no pensé que llegaría a más de 6 HBD generados esta semana que terminó. Por tanto decidí conservar 1 HBD completo para comprar algunos tokens de segunda capa como Decs (Splinterlands) y Starbits (Rising Star Game) que son proyectos Gamefi en los que soy muy activo.

Si comparamos con la semana pasada sumamos entonces más de 23 HBD a nuestro baul de ahorros en stable coin de Hive, esa es la magia del interés compuesto que nos plantea este mecanismo de ahorros en HBD. Por supuesto, empezar es lo más complicado, por eso la disciplina es muy importante, tener las metas claras y la convicción de completarlas. Esto es el resultado de más de 2 años trabajando en la blockchain y ahora comienzan a ver los primeros brotes de todo este esfuerzo, lo otro es que si bien conseguimos esta medalla especial, nuestra meta anual todavía se erige como un reto cuesta arriba, 2300 HBD aún no llegamos a mitad del año pero con el bajo precio de Hive, esta meta meta se ha vuelto más cuesta arriba. Ya veremos si con los intereses mensuales del APR podemos alcanzar esta difícil meta.

Tenía mucha ganas de compartirles este primer logro que fue la insignia de Knight of Capital, el siguiente escalón sería 5000 HBD bloqueados pero esa ya es una meta para muy largo plazo, aunque tengo una buena cantidad de Hive liquidos esperando el momento a que suba su precio significativamente para pasarlo a HBD y sumarlo a la bóveda, es la razón por la que siempre comienzo estos reportes evaluando el precio de Hive a lo largo de la semana.
