So today is the second last day of 2022 and time to review the financial goals of 2022 as a whole and see where I stand on achieving the goals, through this post I have to reflect on what I have done good and what can be improved in the 2023 year.
I created the Financial Goals 2022 Initiative - Plans at the start of the year and thus this post is all about reviewing those plans or goals.
Now the thing with Financial goals or planning is that it should not be constant and should be evolving just like you are evolving or getting better every day, the same thing should happen with your goals too and thus we have to review that every month to see if any review is required or are in the .right track. So same thing I have done is to create goals of the whole year and every month do a self-review to see where I stand and thus what change is needed to do in order to achieve the goals I had set for myself.
The Goals of 2022 which I have created are as follows:
Be more active on Hive
I think it was 70% completed as I was mostly active in writing posts whereas I lacked writing many comments which are to be honest bad.
Be Healthy
Again this goal is not fully completed as my weight has increased by 4 kg, so hopefully, I will try to decrease it in the following year.
Do not take a loan
This was not done as I have taken a loan to buy assets and thus now I am tied to giving EMIs every month. Though I think it is not that bad too because we should not take a loan for liabilities but for assets having a loan is ok, in my opinion.
Have 16K Hive Power
I can proudly say that this goal has been completed and thus I can celebrate that I have completed at least one goal of 2022. Though I have changed my goal in the middle of the year to have 17K Hive Power and hopefully by 1st Jan 2023, I will complete that as well.
Have 1000 HBD savings
This again has not been completed as of now because I was mainly moving my HBD to Hive, but it was 95% completed and I am sitting at 915 HBD. With the Hive price down, I have been moving my HBD to Hive and thus increasing my Hive Power otherwise this would have been completed.
Have 5000 LEO
This again has been completed with flying colours and thus I have created the goals for 2023 too.
Have 5000 STEM
I was not that active in STEM and thus could not complete this goal at all.
Increase my Mutual Fund and Stocks Portfolio by 20%
I think it is done basically I have increased the mutual fund portfolio by around 25% but stocks I was a little sceptical and could not increase much.
Have 6 months' expenses in Emergency Fund
This is again not completed and I have only 2 months of expense in the Emergency Fund, but hopefully, this year would be different and could increase the emergency fund.
Pretty much done with the goals I have set and where I stand on them. Hopefully, next year need to plan better to have more achievable goals.
