SPS is one of the important tokens in Splinterlands and slowly it is replacing all the other tokens, and hopefully in the future we will have just one token which will be SPS alone. And I think the Splinterlands team is working for that. We are seeing currently some of the SPS related new launches and other things which is actually the direction the game is moving.
Now in the recent times there is a talk where the team will be replacing the collection power with the SPS or might combine both of them of they do not want to get away with collection power. Though it's them to decide but one thing is clear that we will see more and more SPS involvement on what level we are playing. So that means SPS might be eventually replace the collection power.
I know this might be good for a lot of people but not for me. I have worked on increasing my collection power to 75K now almost ignored the SPS where my SPS staking is just over 4.2K which is quite low as of now. So if the changes happen, I need to start building the SPS and then ignore about the collection power. But if the team can come up with something which is like mix of both 50% collection power and 50% SPS that would be great for someone like me.
Though it's for them to decide. Now my next target is to build my SPS tokens. As of now I was thinking of growing in organically with playing the staking rewards. But I think that's going to take a lot of time and once the above things happen I could not able to get more SPS. So the next step for me it to buy more and more SPS from the market. And the process has been started. I am thinking of buying 10 SPS everyday as of now and then if I see that the process is still slow will buy more going forward.
My goal was to have atleat 5K SPS by the year end but I think that's not enough and need to get atleast 10K so let's see how I can move quickly to get that SPS in place. The price of the SPS is low too and most probably when the SPS in place of collection power comes up tye price might start to rise so it's better to start building that SPS from now on so that we do not have to shell out more money at that time.
Let's see what the future holds but I know that SPS will be used in more and more places and hopefully building the SPS would be the best thing to do. I was late to the party but it's better to be late than never. So if you are like me then it's better to start building the SPS from now on.
