This is a weekly overview of my personal sports betting/trading results on teams from the Belgian Jupiler League, documenting my journey toward long-term profit with some insights on my overall approach.
Beyond any expectation, Week 8 along with the cup match tuned out to be one of those where pretty much all of pre-game bets (exepct for one which was the biggeste and most confident) just ended up as winners while I covered most of the exposure in-game to reduce the overall variance. So I can't complain one bit with the +1.369 units profit that I managed to make which really boosts my overall season result to somewhere that is kind of acceptable and in line with previous years.
There are now 2 more weeks to go with most of the matches played at the same time, so I don't expect that much action going forward and have pretty much sealed another season in the green keeoing the unbeaten streak alive while at the same time being far away from the big profits as both my stake sizes and ROI remain on the relative low side compared to where I ideally want them to be.
Pre-Game Preview Bets Season 2025-2026
While I hoped for 1 more winner to get me in the green on the confident pre-game selections this season, the one I had this week on the 1st Half under on Club Brugge vs Union ended up in a loser despite the fact that it turned out with good closing line value. I don't plan on chasing anything and this might have been my last bet like this this season. The long term record still stands though and it's hard with only 32 of them in a season not to have variance as the major factor. Things started great but near the end if felt like there was one loser after the other which still made me drop down even though they were at 4.8+ units in profit at some point.
