Hello Hivers!
I just surpassed and survived the middle of the week, that's good! I've been busy in the past few days so I'm glad that tomorrow will be TGIF at last. Right after that will be a weekend of rest and some leisure as well. What could be something that I can do to end the week with enjoyment? Any suggestions?
Anyway, I'm writing a post because I feel pumped up that I already regained my HP after delegating it to Ecency. I delegated my HP in the past few months because I didn't have enough time to do my manual curation back then. And now that I already have a bit of time to manually curate blog posts I had to pull out my delegation. It's time to roll up my sleeves and do some rewarding work to do. Though small, I think that curation is still an aspect of our Hive experience that we should do.
Apart from posting, I think curation plays a role in content discovery. It doesn't matter whether the value of our upvote is a fraction of a dollar or a few cents, I think it will provide some motivation to the recipient of the upvote knowing that someone appreciates their post and that they made an effort to upvote it. That's the principle that I'm looking at at this point.
The current value of my vote is about $0.019 which is tiny compared to the high-level users or curation accounts out there but I think that it's a good addition to the reward that the user will receive. Eventually, if I keep a consistent activity in the platform then it will definitely grow as I keep staking, curating, and writing posts as well.
So, I'm looking forward to reconnecting with the Hivers that engaged with in the past and hopefully being able to share some of my insights on the topics that I'm interested in in the coming days.
