For me, crypto is the currency of the people, in every sense of the phrase.
When I was a kid, I needed money to improve my life, and work was so hard to find. If I could get work, it paid little and paid in cash which I could use for common goods but couldn't save up because I wasn't old enough to have my own bank account, so I spent it so as not to have to worry about carrying large amounts of cash. When I finally got a bank account, I started saving but saw little to no growth, and then work became even harder to find!
I turned to the internet, found some jobs, but alas they either didn't pay out in my local currency or weren't available in my country, or because of being based abroad I got hit hard with currency conversion and transaction fees, giving me relatively little for my work and time.
Then one day, I got paid in crypto.
From that point forward, I was free! I could access money anywhere, any time, without having to pay extortionate fees as a punishment for where I live, not having to worry about carrying around huge amounts of cash, worrying about banks failing and my money being lost, the only person I had to count on from that day was myself.
This is what crypto is. A revolutionary, a liberating, an empowering and life affirming thing that will bring you everything you could imagine if you believe in it.
