When Hive began, I was locked in from day one. I knew that this was going to be the place where I wanted to be. So I started dedicating my extra time to daily posting, commenting, and curating on Hive. It is to the point now that Hive is what I consider my main job.

I moved on from what we had all grown so used to over on Steem, it was lost and no longer worth my time and effort. I started a full power down and gradually converted every bit of it to Hive. That, along with rewards and a bit of fiat, has allowed me to grow my account to where it is today.

My Hive account@daltono account had a total of 16,705 STEEM on March 20, 2020.
Today on March 20, 2022, I am happy to see my HIVE balance at 80,362.

That is nearly 5x growth in size.

It is not all about the numbers to me, but in this instance, numbers don't lie. The work I have put in has paid off and it surely will go down as one of my best decisions. I see so many other users who have landed in a position to succeed like this. Not everyone took advantage of the opportunity, but those who did are surely feeling good about where we are headed.

I'm happy to have so many opportunities thanks to Hive, this truly is a blessing unlike any other. I'm glad to be where we are today with the overall strength of Hive and I know it is still so early on. Where we will be in two more years from now is nearly impossible to predict, but I have a strong sense that we will be looking down from an even higher altitude.

Thank you to every person who has supported me, had a meaningful conversation with me, and taken the time to believe in Hive. We wouldn't be here without each other.
