You can be a successful blogger

If you wish to grow your Hive account, posting content and possibly earning some rewards is one of the best ways to do so. Anybody can do this type of thing, but not all people believe that they have what it takes.

One of the most popular reasons for not getting active on Hive is the common excuse: "I cannot think of what to write about", I know you've heard that one before.

There are many factors to consider when deciding on a topic for your next blog. Today I hope to give you advice that will enable you to always come up with something new to write about.

Some ideas for finding inspiration for your blog include:

1. Identify your audience

Who will be reading your blog? What are their interests and needs? Your topic should be something that is relevant and interesting to your audience.

Although the number of users on Hive is still very little, that doesn't mean there isn't a variety of people. Users from all over the world congregate on this social blockchain. You will find someone interested in just about every niche and more people will arrive in the future. It is best to associate yourself with communities that align with your topics of choice.

2. Consider your expertise

What topics are you knowledgeable about or passionate about? Write about something that you have a strong understanding of or are excited to learn more about.

It is not a good idea to try to force yourself to do something that you know little about or care nothing about. Even if the topic is widely popular at the time, it is usually better to put your effort into something that is more your speed. Your passion will ooze through your words and people will care more about what you have to share.

3. Look at current events

Is there something that is currently in the news or a hot topic of conversation in your industry? Writing about current events can make your blog timely and relevant.

This is by far the easiest way to come up with new ideas. There is always something happening in the world and people love learning about new information before others. If you are capable of being the first person to create a post about a certain topic, you can bet you will find yourself having some new users visiting and consuming your content. Don't feel like you have to present information like traditional news, go about it your own way.

4. Reflect on your personal experiences

Do you have a unique perspective or experience that you can share with your readers? Personal stories can be powerful and engaging.

If you have done something that not many people have experienced, then why not share it with the world? You may think something you've lived to be boring, but others may have an entirely different point of view. Never underestimate what happens in your life because it could alter the future of somebody who reads it in a positive way. If you have the courage to make your diary public, there will be somebody excited to read it.

5. Solve a problem

Is there a problem or challenge that your audience is facing that you can help them with? Providing solutions to problems can be a great way to add value to your blog.

This post you are reading now is a great example of this. I know that people often give up because they struggle to come up with new ideas. It does not have to be that way. Learning how to do something new online is this generation's version of going to school. Nobody likes problems and everyone loves solutions. If you can manage to solve simple and even intricate problems, this is a great thing to write about.
