Ok, I had to later swap this title. At first, I thought talking about my experience at a pharmacy was going to be a quick summary until my finger happened to type just too that it has become paragraphs upon paragraphs. We will talk of the main event next time which is concerning how new markets are opening up. Till then, enjoy this particular reading.
I just stepped into the pharmacy to purchase a nutrition supplement for someone. Ok, getting to such a place is not my regular thing. I first had to look at their processes and well, it was quite remarkable, I was just standing there and admiring everything. The sales personnels at the counter with the system for quick receipt processing.
You may not understand but that is one of my visions, how to set up a flywheel of workers that have standard of operation. When you enter a business premises they had standard, you don't need to be told to compose yourself. Surprisingly I was just waiting there at the counter and observing how things are done and I finally knew I needed some assistance. I had to head back to the safety guard personnel to ask; ‘please what are the processes here’.
Ok, she was a little surprised maybe because I used the word ‘processes’ but ALL I wanted to know is where and where to head directly to and get things done. I saw others in the counter with receipts and I had none so I also knew I was missing out on something. Head back to the cue and wait, someone will attend to you. Someone finally did and what I first got was that receipt I saw others with.
We go again. What happens next? Ok, I had to ask one of the customers around and she was kind enough to tell me that I should head to their payment point to make due payment. That was done and I was back again in the line. NOW I know why others had that receipt I earlier imagined. Fast-forwarding, it was a wonderful experience because I finally left smiling after a last minute precaution from the sales person.
Another thing to consider is this, you don't know how good God is to you until you branch a hospital or a pharmacy. I was just observing people coming in and going out. The entire place was very busy and I could just sense how many people are battling to survive on drugs on a daily basis. Adding to that, they are spending very high. I overheard the cashier calculating the amount in tangible thousands to a customer and I really have to say; LORD I THANK YOU FOR DIVINE HEALTH.
To conclude, let me add, the health sector has remained one of the TOP notch sectors globally pulling in reasonable amounts. The global healthcare market is estimated at nearly $14 trillion as of 2026 with an estimated CAGR of approximately 7%.
Pharmaceutical takes half (50%) of the entire market share. Inasmuch as this industry is playing a part to retain human health please always pray that God blesses your years with divine health.
