Hello all! Another week and it's time again to do another #myhivegoals post, a series idea started by started by . This also doubles as my weekly progress report for #saturdaysavers, which is a fun little group that tries to motivate everyone to save and reach their goals. I'm going to look at the progress I've made on my Hive goals, as well as give a few tokens I'm looking at right now. If you are here for the comment SBI giveaway, well, we'll get to that too.

Let's start with my Hive goals.
𝐇𝐈𝐕𝐄
My current goal is 25k Hive.
This past week I made 167.42, bringing me to 20491.73 total Hive Power. That's 82.0% of my goal!
That 167.42 number seems down from my average of around 200. I guess my posts last week (or two weeks ago, since they are the ones that paid out last week) didn't do as well as usual. That's a little disappointing. Oh well, we keep moving forward!
Math time. 25k - 20491.73 gives us 4508.27. Divided out by the days till the first of next year, we get 128.8 Hive needed per day to reach 25k by that point.
Man... even higher. Part of me didn't want to do that math because I knew it would be up. 128.8 per day is completely out of my reach. Oh well, still good to know. Maybe I'll hit the jackpot on one of my Freebitco.in spins and be able to make my goal!

Oh well. One failed goal coming up. Let's move to the second layer. Any money spent here is from here. The post earnings are reserved for powering-up or buying HSBI for people, but I allow any tokens earned to stay on this side, where I sell them to fund buys here. And what did I buy last week...
𝐁𝐑𝐎 & 𝐏𝐈𝐌𝐏
Not much going on with these two. I didn't buy any, but I did earn some.
My overall goal in BRO is 1000 BRO to make it into dragon club. Last week I earned 0.112, which puts me at 522.63 total or 52.3% of my goal. And my overall goal with PIMP is 100k. I made 194.0229 PIMP last week, putting me at 60422.63 — 60.4% of my goal.

Some good news. LGN is still cheap so I decided to sell some of my SIM to buy more. I know SIM is paying out around 40%, which is a good return, but I decided the money would be better put towards LGN. I own far too many assets on Hive Engine anyway, so combining some of them can only be good. I also put a lot of my Dcity cards up for sale, but none have sold yet.
Anyway, I used that SIM money to buy LGN, which put me at 2000.45! That reaches my goal of 2k! Whew... one goal down.
LGN is still cheap and I think still a good buy and I am tempted to keep picking it up, but no. We need to keep ourselves to our goals to avoid spending too much.
I will keep slowly getting out of Dcity, but that money will go towards PIMP and BRO now.

I haven't made my order yet for some of the 2024 dragon rounds yet. There are so many nice ones coming.
But I wanted to mention a few things for the silver inclined who may be reading.
First is, at least as of this writing, it seems like all the major silver sites still have some Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales going on. I don't think I can get together enough money for an order before these sales go away, but if you can, take advantage of them!
Looking at the silver chart, we can see the price has jumped in the past 24 or so hours. Wow! Gold has gone up too.
I do have a small buy that I did off Yahoo Auctions coming in hopefully this week. If it does so, I'll post about it. If not, I have a post scheduled about the legendary Tokugawa gold, a treasure that was hidden close to 200 years ago and has never been found. I was reminded of this story by a few days ago and decided it might be fun to share here. You guys can look forward to that.
Kind of like this, but 6 of the chests

That stuff out of the way, let's do our SBI drawing! If you are new here, I give away 5 shares of SBI every week to commenters on this post. If I get under five commenters, I try to divide it up as best as possible, and if I get over five, I do a random drawing.
So how about this week? Let's see... last post we had comments from
.
And the winners are...
Congratulations, everyone!

And forward we go! It was a strong week. Let's see how this coming one goes!
