I think this phenomenon of zombie companies exists all over the world. Low interest rates have enabled them to survive. Now, in both the US and Europe, it is becoming the norm for capable employees to move to viable companies. All other employees should develop their skills and perhaps learn a new trade. The days when you could work in the same company for 45 years are over.
