Salary won’t save you.

salary is designed in a way to just keep feeding you and not achieving anything in Africa because the value of the currencies is not good and the paycheck is not even increasing to help you with all your needs, most better-paying jobs are occupied by the rich and those with connection which makes it very difficult to get such job.

when I was working as a housekeeper in a hotel in Nigeria I was paid 30k per month which is equivalent to 39$ now and then immediately I remove all of my monthly expenses I don't use to have any money left and most times even before my next payment I would owe a lot of money. I was working but I have nothing to show for it and the struggle was real I ask myself the question can I build a hotel from my working as a housekeeper and that was how I realize things have to change. I realize salary can't take me there and I need an extra income or start doing business.

we have so many people out there there that their salary is just to hold them till they receive the next one and they keep on going in this circle for years because they could not think of a better solution like investing every little they could save from their salary or creating another source of income like starting a small business because it is obvious salary cant make you wealthy.

I know it is obvious that if African currencies can compete with the power of the dollar our jobs will definitely pay better and if you are the type that earns a lot of money as a salary this still shows that salary cant save you and you need two or three income to be financially stable.

look into it

in some countries, you can say a paycheck would be life-changing but in Africa, you need more than one source of income to save you, this way the bad currency will not affect you and you can easily save to even invest in a project that can secure your future.
