I knew about crypto in the year 2017, and one quick lesson I learned as a novice was that the market was volatile. I had been eager to know why the market changes so quickly but then there are a few speculations but no absolute reason as there are other determining factors that people are not certain about. It's like training a rat to avoid peanuts and it goes back to it after a few weeks or months because its desires are insatiable with the new upbringing. However, this is not a rabbit scenario, it's the real world of digital coins.
One thing I've learned as a crypto enthusiast is to do your own research(DYOR) and follow your mind. Most predictions from experts fail even after the detailed analysis of the market. The market seems to control itself and allow a few external factors to affect it. In this post, I'll be answering the question"Are you learning any tough lesson by watching the market bleed?"
I am not a crypto expert but there are two things I learn during a bleeding crypto market; Buy and hodl or convert your assets into tether and hodl until the market value start to go bullish. Recently I watched my assets go down from $110 to $62. I could only hope that the market would regain its strength to rise back to the initial value. I had plans to buy BTC early this year but didn't, watching it pump in value made me wish I had followed my mind. I knew if I was hodling and the market surpassed the $72k limit, I wouldn't have sold. I wish people who hodl could at least sell or convert to tether but they had high hopes until it dropped down, leaving some in regret.
I've learned to not depend on speculations. A lot of experts came up with several crypto prophecies when it was bullish, a way to cover up their guilt after several failed predictions. Many people believed in their prophecy and kept holding on with the hope that it'll come true, only to see a bleeding market after some months.
One other thing I learn is to be prepared for the two seasons (bearish and bullish). They come unaware. When the market is bearish, prepare for a bull and when the market is bullish, prepare yourself for a bear. The crypto value never remains the same. Some projects which were supposed to launch their token kept postponing hoping that Q3-Q4(July-September)will be more bullish only to meet the shock of their lives with the market in the red. Cryptocurrency is volatile, preparation in the two seasons is what makes one stand out.
