Another fabulous week as Hive account@eds-vote delegations hit 269,000 HP this week. Who would have thought we'd reach those dizzy heights by the end of the first year?

Hive's Circular Economy

We have this amazing opportunity on Hive to make gifts to people whose content we want to support. Every day, we get some free HIVE to give away and benefit other Hive accounts.

If your account is very small, you may think your vote is worth nothing - it doesn't register even 0.01 when you vote on a post! That isn't the case, the figures you see are only nominal amounts: behind those are rshares. Rshares are the real value of your vote.

When a number of small voters (people with a small amount of HIVE POWER) vote on a post, the rshares accumulate and before you know it, they start to register as .01! This is why it is important to vote on posts (rather than comments) when you have a small HP stake.

Last week's post talked about engaging with other people on the Savers Chart to build your network. If you're a small account, try and use your ten 100% votes every day, maybe Saturday is the day you support ten other savers!

Using hive.vote curation trail

We also talked about following Hive account@eds-vote to create a curation trail that follows people with 100 EDS (or who delegates 1,000 HP to eds-vote).

Curation trails are an automated service run by hive.vote. You set a portion of your votes to follow the vote of the account you're trailing, in this case Hive account@eds-vote. Here's how to do it:

Head over to hive.vote and login with your Hive account name and posting key. You'll arive at the dashboard. Choose curation trail from the lefthand menu and then scroll down until you come to search for a trail:

Type eds-vote into the search box and click search.

When you reach this screen, you can check who is already following Hive account@eds-vote - I think Hive account@noctury was the first one! Click FOLLOW.

Select your options - you may want to try a low vote percentage at first until you know what difference it makes to your voting power. You can adjust the settings any time.

There you are - all done! You can adjust your settings, pause trailing Hive account@eds-vote or stop all together at any time. This is a great way to support other Savers and all the people who do all the work behind the scenes.
