First Real European War (since WW2) in sight?
That is the one of the most unlikely scenarios that would happen in the coming days. Even when the Russian president shows off with its nuclear power and in a frighting way threatens the west, it’s still unlikely for such a lose-lose war to start. After the World War2 European countries learned the only way to survive this wild world is by sticking together and stop invading the neighbor countries. That way of thinking is still alive in the Europe and all the countries in EU union act as one, because they know that there’s no winner in such a war game these days. Specially now with some dictators having access to nuclear weapons.
NATO, an unbreakable wall?
We shouldn’t underestimate the power of NATO. NATO has the biggest army yet and also has access to so many resources which makes it the most powerful army in the world. A war is never an option for a democratic world. The war only happens when the military power is distributed only between a few countries. We have to accept the fact that natural resources, gas, oil, water and etc. play the only role in this world and we as humans will never stop being egoists, even when we speak of the peace and democratic ways, when it come to resources and our own good, we’d do anything such as going to a war.
