How many times have we been in awe of something or someone that appears to be doing well only to be in shock when it falls suddenly. As visual creatures, there is always the tendency to judge by appearances and that is why we're quick to react to every positive and negative actions happening in the present. No matter how much forward thinking we are about the future, we'd always be a lot more moved by what's in front of us than of the promise of what's to come.
This is in part because the future is always so unpredictable. It takes real energy to anticipate the future and oftentimes we get it wrong. Many people will work with the certainty of what they have on ground now so as not to lose both ways on what lies within the realm of probability. One thing I have observed is that we tend to act on our emotions quite often these days and rely on them more than anything else. Logic takes a back seat even when it makes a compelling argument.
What does it take to consider things objectively though? Surely it isn't a special trait for special people. Objectivity requires a significant amount of insight that could only be borne out of genuine interest to investigate things beyond the surface of emotions. If we have a shitcoin rallying from out of the blue, we should be able to relax and recognize that such rallies are only temporary from our Hive experience. Most times such projects leave more harm than good in their books.
Many people have been scarred because they choose to see only the subjective sides of the crypto verse, or other areas of life. There is always so much noise made about price changes that it leaves very little room for proper insights. When money is flowing into a project it is always important to ask why and what's backing it, in order to get a grip on the long term prospects of such a project. Of course, natural Instinct will likely tell us to go with the flow, and we'd almost inevitably get the shorter end of the stick.
Life certainly isn't short of drama. There is always something happening and it is very difficult to be objective in all instances. When am stressed out or worried about something for instance, it clouds my decision making process and ability to think. All I want in that moment is to relax. There is also the tendency of objectivity leading to inaction which is also something am quite guilty of. For instance I could over think on a choice or action and end up taking no action at all. Some people like to live on the edge even with their finances, but ironically those who take risks tend to make the most headway.
Conclusion
There really isn't much to draw on. I have wondered about the 'right reaction' for building the life financial capacity and definitely long term thinking plays a big role. It must be said though that we'll keep seeing people react from sudden news and movements because that's our innate nature. We can only be grateful for an opportunity to share from our collectively lived experiences and perhaps reveal the benefits of patience and thinking things through to a lot more people.
