My name is Eniola; I'm from Osun State, Nigeria. I'm 23 years old, clocking 24 by December. I'm currently studying business administration at the Federal University of Kogi State; I'm in the 400 level. My hobbies are hair making, listening to music, cooking, watching movies, and reading novels. These activities not only give me joy but also provide creative outlets that help me to balance my stress.
My favorite foods are rice and beans and noodles with eggs. My favorite colors are black, yellow, and blue, though I wear any color of clothes as long as it looks fitting and good on me.I came to know about this platform through my roommate, @Oluwatosin, but it was her sister, , who put me through the process. I have always seen her so active on Hive—how she used to post and write articles on Hive—and I could notice how consistent she has been on this platform for about a year now.Yesterday, I appeared in a video she posted, and I was excited to see the feedback from the community, especially how other members of this platform were correcting her about some things that will help her to improve through constructive feedback.
This makes me eager to join the platform in order to improve my writing and communication skills. The process of joining Hive wasn't difficult, and she even paid a small fee through Ecency to get me onboarded. Now I'm here with the help of her. I'm new to Web3 and decentralized platforms, and I'm so excited to learn more about this new social networking. I've spent most of my time on social media like Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, and Telegram, but it's high time to embrace new social networking. I don't know much about the platform yet, but she has done her best to explain the basics to me. I believe many of us were confused on our first day like me, but with time, we all figured things out.
She told me that there are many communities I can join, and I'm excited to join and to see how things work here. I believe that with her help and the help of her friends, I'll learn a lot from this platform. My life journey hasn't been easy; I lost my dad just before my 200-level first-semester exams, and since then my mom, who is a trader, has been supporting me and my two younger siblings who are still in primary school. But I thank God for giving us the strength to endure things. My roommate has been supporting her sister by taking small financial responsibilities of herself, and I'm hopeful that Hive will help me to achieve this type of independence. In joining this platform, I want to explore Web3 social media and understand more about it.
I hope you all will welcome me with an open arm. I'm excited to learn new things from the potential of Web3 social networking. Looking forward to contributing something to this community.Thank you so much for having me here!
