It’s a busy time for everyone, but especially the retailers and online stores. The holidays are upon us, which means everyone is getting in the spirit. Not to mention, with Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and many other shopping holidays in-between. In the days leading up to Christmas, stores go crazy. People everywhere are running in a flurry to finish up their shopping. Unfortunately, when this happens, prices seem to increase in the name of profit. The result is that our gift-giving budget could get put into debt if we don’t plan correctly.
It’s easy to see why the budget could get overwhelmed. Everyone is going to the same places with the same things, which can get to be a bit overwhelming. That’s why I present you 4 great gift ideas for your loved ones that are both budget-friendly and will delight them. Take a look at the following ideas:
1) Gift cards
When it comes to saving money, gift cards are great. You can buy them for under $10, and then you are completely done! If you are looking to buy a gift card for a friend or family member, you could buy them a Target gift card, which runs between $50-100. You are not limited to buying just gift cards, you could go on their website and buy items or gift cards using your debit or credit card. You could get one of the many items at Target for under $20. It’s super easy to do, so why not get a really good deal on a friend’s gifts?
2) Online shopping
There is nothing like ordering gifts online. It saves time, as you don’t have to be physically driving anywhere. This also saves you money, as you don’t have to spend gas money. You can buy gifts quickly, which is another time and money saver. Plus, you don’t have to worry about the return process, you just send the package to a family member and they open it. If you’re looking for gifts, there are many websites that will ship for less than $10 to the United States. It’s just so easy!
3) DIY
It’s always easy to make gifts. Whether you make them yourself or purchase them, making your own gifts adds a nice personal touch to them. Your creative side can come out and help you with DIY gifts. You could make the gifts yourself and put them in a basket for the family to open. If you buy the gifts, they can make some of the gifts for you. They could bake some cookies or make some crafts to give the gifts with. Making homemade gifts can also make the gift special. It can make them last longer, it can be cheaper, and it can have a nice effect

4) Personalize
If you have a lot of time on your hands, or you’re a really good pen-pusher, you can make really nice, personalized gifts. This is a very fun way to surprise your family, especially if you don’t have much money and can’t spend much on a gift. You can make some cards that you can put pictures of the family on or some cute stickers. You could get some good stationery and have them write a sweet message to the recipient. The personalization thing could add to the gift, rather than detract from it. If you’re making a nice card and you put a picture of the family on it, you could even make a frame for the card to put on the wall. Your family would love it.
