There are two stories happening in stonks right now imo. Tech stonks will probably continue to get crushed, even though some of them look good fundamentally.
Non-tech stonks have already bottomed last year. You look at stonks like Walmart, Chipotle, etc. and they are up quite a bit.
crypto:
During each cycle, there will be X amount of people trying to time the top of the cycle. Most of them will get it wrong, some of them will sell too soon and some of them won't sell because they will be waiting for even higher prices.
The same goes for bottoms. Most people will either buy too soon or wait until much higher prices.
Those that time the exact tops or bottoms are simply lucky. The best approach is to just take profits on the way up and dollar-cost average after prices have gone down.
If I was psychic, I would have loaded the boat on LTC last June (and up 100% at this point). Instead, I'm "only" up 40% because I dollar-cost averaged into the position. Still better than waiting on the sidelines.
