It gives me immense pleasure to declare that I have achieved my first major #HIVE milestone — 5000 Hive Power. Took me a total of 18 months, wasn't easy. Shouldn't have taken that much time if I didn't make those 12 mistakes early on in my journey. Not a problem though, I have learned from them, and believe me, it's a never-ending process. There will always be a scope for improvement and you can optimize for more gains in the long term. Hive is going to a be precious cryptocurrency in the future. Simply because there is an ever-expanding ecosystem backed by a massive community of builders worldwide. The diversity on the platform is so damn high! We have already given the world - the no. 1 P2E game on the planet. I am pretty sure the next best social media DApp is definitely coming out from Hive. It can be Ecency or Peakd or Liketu or LeoFinance. All these projects are doing great. Moreover, a ton of games are built on Hive among hundreds of other projects. I am bullish!
Acquiring More Hive Power
There are different ways anyone can acquire $Hive. So many of them, that you can easily lose count but these are my hot favorites:
- Buying Hive Power: I keep buying tiny bits of Hive from time to time and power it up. Thanks to the bear market, I now have an opportunity to keep adding to my stake. $HIVE's price should be at least $1 in the next bull or maybe even more. You never know!
- Delegate To Earn: I have recently delegated 1400 HP to
because they return 100% of curation rewards and at the same time they give out daily decency rewards. I am getting around 150 every day. They can be used to give your posts some boost. There are many different curation projects that do something similar.
- Post To Earn: This is obvious. Most of us are here as content creators. So I am trying to publish daily and make comments to get upvotes and earn more Hive. That's the best part about Hive because you can earn while the whole world is crying over their portfolio.
- Dividend Tokens: I am also investing in tokens like BRO, DHEDGE, INDEX, etc. that give out HIVE as dividends for simply holding or staking them.
If you really want to know what are other unique ways to earn Hive, then spy on the wallets of successful people you know on Hive and see incoming transactions. Try to observe the different ways they are getting Hive in their wallets. 🥲 That's what I have been doing all this while. xD
Hack
Acquiring Hive is not a problem. As you can see there are a hundred ways you can it. Keeping it in your wallet powered up through the swings is the real deal. That's what most people miss even if they are great at what they do. Moreover, you need to get into a habit of investing more money into Hive if you want to make something substantial. Selling your stake for whatever reason will only put you in the same position 5 years later. If Hive is the only source of income and your income is equal to your expenses, you are fucked bro! So try to find ways to earn money outside of Hive and then invest in your Hive Power. That way you can build a giant much faster. The fact is, more Hive Power means more influence.
Long Term Goal
100K Hive Power in five years! That's the number I want to hit before I start paying myself regularly. Even then I will compound my rewards as much as I can because the next goal will be to hit 1M. Maybe in another 5-10 years after that. By the end of 2027, if I hit that goal, it would be a huge success for me. I won't have to work then and I would still be making lots of money every day, simply by curating. Also assuming that Hive's price will reach at least the $3 mark. That'd be life-changing! Already at 5K which means I would need to acquire at least 19K Hive every year for the next 5 years for another 95K. It's definitely not an unrealistic goal since there will be bear markets and some cool buying opportunities along the way. If all goes well, I will hit it for sure. That kind of money will be more than sufficient for me to have a great life in India. The country is dirt cheap if you are earning in dollars. So that's it for today guys. Tell me your Hive goals in the comments below!
