Alright, so my plans for this year have changed a bit. Some of you might know that I am focusing on building my personal brand on Twitter and also freelancing in the Web3 space. Freelancing and Twitter tie together since I share all of my experiences on my account.
I have been working on both since October. Had some ups and downs but I managed to get over 400 engaging followers and made decent money on Upwork so far.
Out of those 400 followers, I also made some cool friends, told a few about Hive & Leofinance, and even managed to get one professional Web3 copywriter to create a Hive account after she asked me about the link (My LeoFinance Blog) in my Twitter profile.
She hasn't made a single post since then but that's okay. I would call it progress. At least she has an account that she could use in the future.
After coming back from vacation in Feb end, I got swamped with work which hampered my routine. I missed scheduling tweets for the week and then continued for more than 2 months while I dealt with burnout and imposter syndrome.
Old Plan
My old plan for 2023 had three major parts:
- Learn a high-income skill like copywriting.
- Build a following on Twitter around web3 and copywriting.
- Tell them about Web3 social media platforms and plug Hive Dapps in between.
It's a great funnel to bring a constant stream of potential users to Hive and its ecosystem. I feel that more and more Hivers should use their knowledge and skills to build a following on Both Web2 and Web3 social media platforms so that we can ultimately use our Web2 following and direct them to Web3 (Hive).
New Plan
My new plan is pretty much the same but I have added one more niche to talk about - Artificial Intelligence. And that actually changes everything. AI is going to be my edge to go popular quickly on the platform. There's no shortcut to success but AI being a hot topic rn, it could push my impressions beyond imagination.
The problem is that if I publish content related to AI, then what about Web3? So I have decided to create a content tree for myself that helps me construct a plan which covers all the topics I am interested in. It might take a bit of effort, but it's worth spending some time to get my shit together.
Once I am clear on what topics I can talk about and when I will go all in and start batch-creating Tweets so that I don't miss a single fucking day again. Because inconsistency breeds inconsistency and one single miss can turn into weeks and months.
Evolution of My Niche
Recently I have been thinking a lot about my content tree (list of topics or niches) and how it has evolved over the years. I started with basic finance stuff, then delved into Blockchain, Crypto, DeFi, NFTs, and every trend in the web3 space that came in the last two years. And now, I'm excited to dive into AI, which I believe is the future of the tech industry and an integral part of Web3 apart from blockchain technology.
Here's the basic content tree structure I am going to start with as a part of the new plan and expand on topics that I can include in them.
Web3: Crypto, Blockchain, DeFi & NFTs
AI: List of tools, Latest News, Hacks
Creator Economy: Creativity, Tips, Monetization, Creator Mindset etc.
Business: Soloprenership, Freelancing, Productivity, Systems etc.
Most people would say that I am going too wide. The reality is that I still don't know what will work for me. So if I niche down from the starting, I might end up in the same situation after months of hard work. So I will keep experimenting with different stuff until I find my mojo.
I thought I would write this down in a blog so that I finally put an end to my streak of not being active on Twitter. 😂 So if this doesn't make sense to you, then it's okay. This blog is for myself, not for you. But if you could take anything out from it, then it's cool. See you in the next one guys!
