If you have been a little active in Leofinance community here, you should have heard about the adoption campaign which is kicking off in the next 3 days - 30th April, 2023. We all are eager to see this much awaited marketing campaign kick-off. A lot of noise has been made about it and rightly so - yes because $10,000 prize for this campaign is big money anywhere. Well if you still dont know what the adoption campaign is, here is a brief heads-up.
The Leo Team has been working on a new Threads UI which has been on the alpha stage so far. The UI will be moved to the production or final stage by 30th April. That means the URL will move from https://alpha.leofinance.io/ to https://leofinance.io/. To launch this major milestone and invite more users to join Leo threads, the Leo team came up with this adoption campaign. And the team has put up a big bounty - a whopping $10,000 to be shared among all that participate in the adoption campaign. You shouldn't miss the campaign should you? Again the prize is $10k. Think!!!
So the essence of this article is to remind users of important things they need to check to ensure they are ready to participate in the adoption campaign which will kick off in 3 days from today - specifically 30th April, 2023. So here are 4 things to check out

In order to show your readiness to participate in the campaign, here are 4 things you need to do now:
- Invite frens to Leofinance Zealy: The Leo team has used Zealy (formerly Crew3) to run projects of this nature. Again, its their choice to use this tool for the adoption campaign. So you have to join Leofinance on Zealy. Then, you need to invite other frens to join through your link ahead of the kick-off date which is April 30th.

While referrals wont matter so much during the campaign, those you invited, that also joined through your link will be considered at the end of the campaign towards the prize distribution.
- Stay up-to-date: Getting updates is as important as anything. Right now, the UI is still in the alpha phase and you do not have to miss any upcoming update announcements. So you have to follow some accounts and never miss out on anything.
For the features updates coming from the dev team, you expect to have them every Friday until the UI is moved to the main URL. I suggest you always check out

In order not to miss anything, I suggest you install a frontend that gives notifications. One of them is ecency. I installed it and added the two accounts above as favorites. So each time they drop any update post, I get a notification on my mobile device.

- Represent a Community: Yes you could help 1 of 2 communities win a whopping 100,000 hive power delegation. That is massive right? Well its easy. Just finish the campaign in the top two positions and that does it all. Any of the communities you elect to represent will receive the 100k HP delegation at the end of the campaign. So how do you represent a community?
To represent a community, make a thread in the format below:
"I'm on Threads for the Adoption Campaign that starts on April 30, and I represent the xxxxx Community"

- Try out Quests: If you are new to Zealy, it might look odd to you. Remember that the campaign will be managed with Zealy. So ahead of the kick-off date, you could actually try out how to complete quests. In Zealy, quests are tasks which participants are expected to complete periodically - daily or once. The campaign will be composed of many quests. You need to do the quests and claim your experience points (xp). participants with the highest xp wins the top positions.

Click on any of the quests available right now as seen on the page below:
The available quests will help you try and learn how to complete quests so that nothing sounds or looks foreign ahead of kick-off time on 30th. Once you complete any quests, you are expected to click the Claim rewards button.
