Greetings friends of Hive, all creative and enthusiastic about the Blockchain world. Living in Venezuela, I am motivated to write my post in two languages. Today, checking my Hive account@leofinance feed I came across a post by Hive account@starstrings01 where he excitedly tells us about a $50000 profit in an Airdrop that turned out to be fake. This motivated him to call this contest, which you can find out about at this link. And well, this is my participation in this nice contest.

Saludos amigos de Hive, todos creativos y entusiastas del mundo Blockchain. Al vivir en Venezuela, me veo motivado a escribir en dos idiomas mi post. Hoy, revisando mi feed de Hive account@leofinance me encontré con una publicación de Hive account@starstrings01 donde nos cuenta emocionado sobre una ganancia de $50000 en un Airdrop que resulto finalmente falso. Esto lo motivo a convocar este concurso, del cual puedes enterarte en este link. Y bueno, esta es mi participación en este grato concurso.

First, this experience of Hive account@starstrings01 made me remember in 2017 when, working on a pay-per-click site, one day when I logged into my account, I found a balance of a little over 149 Bitcoin! By that date, the price was hovering around $18000 so upon seeing that balance which meant over $2600000 the excitement I felt I can't describe it, and more so when it was there almost all day. My mind was flying thinking about what I could achieve with all that money. Obviously, when I tried to withdraw it, it was not possible and I tried many times but then, the illusion ended at the end of the day.

Primero, esta experiencia de Hive account@starstrings01 me hizo recordar en 2017 cuando, trabajando en una página de pago por click, cierto día al entrar en mi cuenta, me encontré con un saldo de un poco más de 149 Bitcoin! Para esa fecha, el precio rondaba los $18000 así que al ver ese saldo que significaban más de $2600000, la emoción que sentí no la puedo describir y más cuando estuvo allí casi todo el día. Mi mente volaba pensando en lo que podría lograr con todo ese dinero. Obviamente al intentar retirarlos no se pudo y lo intente en muchas ocasiones pero luego, la ilusión termino al final del día.

But let's get to the contest questions and the first one is:

1. What would you do with a $50,000 airdrop?

Living in Venezuela, where the official minimum wage is $0.75 a month, this amount makes me a millionaire. At the official exchange rate in bolivars, this $50K would be Bs 120,000,000,000,000. A basic purchase of food for 15 days and a family of 5 people is approximate Bs 360,000,000.
Particularly, I would allocate $15000 to leave this country immediately with my family, and the main reason is that all this money would be diluted without remedy in this chaotic economic crisis. Where would I emigrate to? To Brazil, Canada, USA, Panama, Australia, or New Zealand. I would invest $25000 in my favorite cryptocurrencies: HIVE, LEO, CUB, XEM, FUN, ZEN, CEL, and DASH, at the rate of 50% in our coins and the rest in the others. Another $5000 in stocks and other investments and the remaining $5000 would be available for minor expenses.

Pero vamos a las preguntas del concurso y la primera es:

1. ¿Qué harías con un lanzamiento aéreo de $ 50,000?

Al vivir en Venezuela, donde el salario mínimo oficial equivale a $0,75 al mes, esta cantidad me convierte en millonario. Al cambio oficial en bolívares, estos $50K serían Bs 120.000.000.000. Una compra básica de alimentos para 15 días y una familia de 5 personas son aproximadamente en Bs 360.000.000.
Particularmente, destinaria $15000 para salir inmediatamente de este país con mi familia, y la razón principal, es que todo este dinero se diluiría sin remedio en esta caótica crisis económica. ¿A dónde emigraría? A Brasil, Canadá, EE.UU, Panamá, Australia o Nueva Zelanda. Invertiría $25000 en mis criptomonedas favoritas: HIVE, LEO, CUB, XEM, FUN, ZEN, CEL, y DASH, a razón de 50% en nuestras monedas y el resto en las otras. Otros $5000 en acciones y otras inversiones y los $5000 restantes serian un disponible para gastos menores.

2. If you are given a Hive power of 100,000 Hive, how exactly do you plan to use it?

With that HP, I would have the opportunity to make things different for many Hivers, especially those who are starting out or those who are struggling to emerge. I remember when I started here I received support in a small delegation from Hive account@garybilbao and Proyecto Hive account@aliento, but that made a big difference in my beginnings. I believe that with all that power, replicating this small gesture in many who are trying to emerge, would help them enormously. I would also dedicate myself full time to manually value those who are dedicated to creating content but often go unseen and unappreciated. And following the curation trails that are effective in this task would be among my ideas to use all that power. That is much needed here.

I hope this contest will motivate many to express their opinion, so I invite friends Hive account@nini95, Hive account@samgiset and Hive account@byercatire if they wish, to review this contest and if they are encouraged to participate.

2. Si se le otorga un Hive power de 100,000 Hive, ¿cómo planea usarlo exactamente?

Con ese HP tendria oportunidad de hacer la cosas distintas para muchos Hivers, sobre todo para aquellos que inician o los que estan luchando por surgir. Recuerdo cuando inicie aca, recibi el apoyo en una pequeña delegación por parte de Hive account@garybilbao y Proyecto Hive account@aliento, pero que hizo una gran diferencia en mis inicios. Creo que con todo ese poder, replicar este pequeño gesto en muchos que estan tratando de surgir, les ayudaria enormemente. Tambien me dedicaria a tiempo completo a valorar manualmente a quienes se dedican a crear contenidos pero muchas veces no son vistos ni valorados. Y seguir los trail de curación que son efectivos en esta tarea, estaria entres mis ideas para usar todo ese poder. Eso se necesita mucho aqui.
