So like I'm sure most of you have experienced the past few weeks, I woke up today in slight disbelief seeing the HIVE price. And while I've grown used to it, and also come to take it for granted that we would see $1 again, it still feels surreal when it happens in such short pumps.

I guess the feeling today was mostly surreal because having already pumped heavily a few times in recent weeks, there's a bit of anxiety watching the price as one could also see a harsh correction. To then instead be presented by a near-doubling of the price to a new level not seen before is then almost unbelievable. Except this is crypto, so it totally is.
I think HIVE may have hit $1 on some exchanges during the initial pump, but that may have been against USDT which sometimes is close to but just below one USD. My point is, that with HIVE now having briefly hit $1 again, that may have been our new all-time-high. Which is worth noting!
The Hive-Steem flippening
Another fun thing, as I'm sure most will share with me, is to see HIVE once again above STEEM in market cap. Now, I had to zoom out to 75% resolution in order to fit them both in together, which I also took a lot of pleasure in.

Now I've previously said and will continue to say that we should be careful to compare ourselves with Steem. And we should especially not be satisfied just with having a higher price than a chain that has been mostly a disappointment and failure in terms of living up to its potential for many years.
Hive is Hive. It has its unique technical vision, community, and legacy. And the goals we set for ourselves should be higher than anything found on page 2, or the lower half of page 1 for that matter, of any rating pages by market cap.
But let's start with getting HIVE back to the top 100 Only another +100% pump left to go ;)
