Welcome to my final report of 2025! As we step into 2026, it is time to look back at December. It was a month of experiments, mixed financial results, but absolutely record-breaking engagement.
The "Less Than a Dollar" Club & The Premium Dilemma
Looking at the charts below, you will see a lot of green arrows, but let's be transparent about the grind. Volume doesn't always equal value. Despite posting consistently, 9 of my posts earned less than $1.
Note: Throughout this post, when I mention earnings or value, I am strictly referring to the Author's Share (what lands in my wallet), not the total post payout.
On December 4th, I decided to shake things up and became a Premium Member of InLeo.
- Financially? It was honestly a bad investment. The extra earnings didn't cover the cost of the subscription.
- The Upside: However, it was a massive morale booster. It did push the specific posts that InLeo voted on above the $2 mark.
- The Verdict: While the math didn't work out perfectly in my favor this month, having that "badge" kept me grinding even when those low-earning posts hit.
Crushing the Comment Record
The absolute highlight of December wasn't the earnings—it was the engagement. My post introducing the monthly analytics script exploded with 77 comments. That is a personal record!
It was superb to see that level of interaction. A massive shoutout to 
Why No Yearly Report? (The Privacy Paradox)
I spent some time debating whether to offer a 2025 Yearly Report. I actually ran the script for a friend, and seeing the data aggregated like that gave me pause.
We all know the deal with the blockchain: Privacy doesn't really exist. Everything we do is on the public ledger forever. I actually love that aspect of Hive—it is why I am here. However, I also understand that aggregating a full year of habits, interactions, and timestamps paints a very detailed picture that some users might not want pasted into a public comment section. So, out of respect for that balance, I decided not to offer the yearly dump.

🔮 The Plan for 2026: Authenticity Over Trends
With December behind me, I am adjusting my strategy for the new year.
- The $10 Goal: I have a specific target for 2026: I want to achieve a single post with a $10 total value (which means a $5 author share for me). It sounds small to some, but it is a big milestone for me.
- My Way, Not the Highway: To get there, I will need to work hard and build a network. But let me be clear: I won't follow the mainstream or hunt for votes. I refuse to write "bait" just to please the big curators. I will continue to write about what I want, hoping that the community finds genuine value in it.
- App & Engagement Strategy: I'll be using InLeo less (reserving it for prediction models) and giving Ecency a serious try. More importantly, I want to increase my overall comment volume—both given and received.
