I just can't keep up.
There, I said it.
Between school, the ranch, whirlwind trips to town to deal with all the things, I am kaput.
I am not sad though. My life is swell.
It's just not slowing down. At all.
I miss blogging every other day at a minimum. This every seven to ten days thing is so abnormal for me, and I have been on here for almost a decade.
Honestly, I have started thinking of my intermittent being here as of late as a season sort of thing. I mean, from last Tuesday til Sunday I was averaging about four hours of sleep a night. This pace is just nutty I tell ya.
However, I think after this weekend I might get to slow er' down a bit for a bit. I even get five weeks off it's looking like over Christmas break from school.
And I need it. I am exhausted.
That said, everything is beyond excellent in the Kat-realm. My offspring are crushing it. They are both in school and working, one at hospital and one in the Navy.
The hubs is the happiest I have ever seen him up here on the ranch.
And me, well, even though I am tired, all these hiking patrols are having a very positive effect on the ol' physique. I am in pretty dang good shape. a 4-6 mile hike up a mountain at a moderately high elevation is pieces of cake for me and the corg now. Plus, I have been getting a lot more firearms practice and training in, so that's encouraging.
But boy oh boy am I ready to hibernate a bit. I got myself a new puzzle table and puzzles, Magic Commander deck ideas to build, a new gaming computer setup on the way, and pastry ideas I want to craft, so there's a bunch of relaxing winter ambitions in the far corners of my cranium a brewing.
I might even get to them too, if I ever sit down for more than to write a paper or do a discussion board.
And speaking of writing, I have so many stories I need to share with you all! So many adventures had happened, but for now, now I am going to take a much needed break. I am cooked.
And as most of the time, all of the images in this post were taken on the author's in need of a recharge too, iPhone.
