The Genesis Sport League team came out with the announcement Yesterday - were they surprised all the users on the news around the game cards pack opening is LIVE now. Check the announcement - Genesis League Goals - Pack Opening is Here!!. What strike me the most about the news is about the introduction of Scout Passes. Just have a look at the Scout Passes above doesn't it look like a great NFT to HODL..Anyways its not an NFT rather it is a pass that players opening the packs should have it if they want to increases their chances by 15% in order to receive a GOLD foil card in the game. And we all know that GOLD foil cards are very rare and they have better stats as well when compared to a regular foil card.
Bought Scout Passes with Credits
I was not willing to give away $GLX for $GLUSD and hence bought 10K Credits with $HIVE as of now. Considering the lower price of $GLX, I didn't want to swap it for $GLUSD and rather thought of staking all my $GLX rewards instead. As of now I have bought 150 Scout Passes which costed me around 9K credits. The plan is to buy more Scout Passes i.e. around 200+ more as I have 70 GMLSPA Packs. I am planning to open all the packs by leveraging the benefit of Scout Passes - so this would require me to have at least 350 Scout Passes Here the benefit that the player would get by opening the packs with Scout Passes
15% Gold Foil chance for first two weeks (week 1 & 2) of pack opening
13% Gold Foil chance for week 3 & 4 of pack opening
12% Gold Foil chance for week 5 & 6 of pack opening
11% Gold Foil chance for week 7 & 8 of pack opening
For that reason I have also initiated the process of unstaking my 70 packs. But then the draw back is that I would not be getting any $GLX rewards for staking the packs. But at the other side you increase your chances i.e. 15% of receiving a GOLD foil card. After two weeks from now the percentages of receiving the GOLD foil card diminishes 2% every two weeks.
Finally with all this positive news that the Genesis Sport League team came out with has seen the $GLX price pump as well. Today $GLX is up almost 30% and has a trade volume above $6K+ and rising.
I was a bit lucky to buy in a big chunk of $GLX around 5K+ tokens at its all time low and had staked all of them to receive an APR which is above 130% at the moment. Here is my current stake in $GLX on my way to 50K+ $GLX staked in near future.
Short of another 10K+ $GLX here to achieve my GOAL. At the moment I am able to add close to 300+ $GLX back to the staking pool via the staking rewards. So hopefully should be able to reach my target pretty soon. Now I would just stop buying $GLX for the moment as it is now making good upward movement. The immediate plan is now to open the packs once the unstake period finishes and leverage the Scout Passes fully. So will be focusing in buy some more Scout Passes in near future.
