Hey All,
Apart from investing in crypto, I also have a decent investment in the Indian stock market. And when I say “DECENT”, I genuinely mean a well diversified and thoughtfully built portfolio. I have been doing the Market101 series where I talk about my investment in the stock market and hence those posts can be referred to for more context and detailed insights. Coming to main topic which is about the dividend received for holding Infosys shares. I got this notification from the company that said - "Infosys Ltd - Interim Dividend 2025-26" and I was like wow, that’s a pleasant surprise.
The dividend is in respect of the equity shares held by me in the company as on the record date i.e. October 27, 2025 and the money has already been credited to my registered bank account on November 07, 2025 through NEFT [National Electronic Funds Transfer]. Here is the snapshot taken from the mail sent to me by kfintech.
A total of 70 shares of Infosys that I hold and dividend decalred was Rs.23/- per share and hence total amount credited was Rs.1610/- not bad at all when this is all the free money flowing into your bank account. It would be good to check on the Infosys Dividend History for the last 3 Years + Latest Dividend and here is what I found.
| Fiscal Year | Dividend Type | Dividend (₹ / share) | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| FY 2026 | Interim Dividend | ₹23 | Most recent interim dividend declared |
| FY 2025 | Interim Dividend | ₹21 | Declared around Oct 2024 |
| Final Dividend | ₹22 | Total FY25 = ₹43 | |
| FY 2024 | Interim Dividend | ₹18 | Regular interim |
| Final Dividend | ₹20 | Regular final | |
| Special Dividend | ₹8 | One-time special dividend | |
| FY 2023 | Interim Dividend | ₹16.50 | Standard interim cycle |
| Final Dividend | ₹17.50 | Total FY23 = ₹34 |
In all, what I can say is that Infosys has a strong, consistent dividend paying history, and therefore it remains a reliable long term holding in my portfolio. My strategy ahead is to continue to #hold INFY and along with I will be buying more shares of it to bring the total to 100 shares. Hence more investment needs to be redirected here to build this position steadily. As a result I have already invested back the divedend recived in buying the share of Infosys. Currently, the price of Infosys is being traded at around ₹1500+, and I think at this price it is a fairly attractive level for long term accumulation. My avearage buying price here is around Rs.1475/- so already in profit and if I consider the dividends recived the overall profit is much higher. One last thing before I end this post, I would say that Infosys has a good track record of buying back shares and along with its consistent dividend payouts, it continues to reward long term shareholders effectively. Ok this should be it for todays post on - "India Stock - Infosys Dividend - My Investment & Strategy Ahead..." Happy Investing... cheers
