The zealy campaign we all anxiously expected on the 1st of May has come to an end. The #leofinance team has done so well in using this medium not only to Kickstart the adoption but also to help members and participants grow entirely on the blockchain. The quests in the campaign was a push to achieving what one would not have thought of accomplishing on a norm.
The campaign started so well with everyone anticipating the campaign. I also had great hopes as well even though I got discouraged at some point when there were hitches especially with the long Form posts. At some point I had to send some writeups to a friend who had a desktop to help me some important tasks just so not to miss out on some quests... Risky right??.
No doubt, my engagement level grew wildly in this short period although I didn't partake as much as I expected but still I was able to rank 93 with almost 16000 experience points. The tasks practically had to do with what we experience on the blockchain and it was easy when the instructions were strictly obeyed. The quests comprises of long Form posts, threadstormING, drawing, powering up, leofinance shows (leotv), crypto writer, finance writer, business writer, politics writer, vloggers, influences and so on.
For me, the one that got me more engaged was 'the battle of the armies' I got so involved with my team (brownlions), I made more threads than I have ever made since Leothreading began. We ended up coming second.
There are various May's the zealy quest campaign has helped me boost my experience and influence on the hive blockchain in general.
it has helped me learn more: before the campaign, I really had no idea what leotv was although I used to see its review. But when we had to listen and watch the quest for information and the keyword I saw that it was an educative platform laced with knowledgeable facts. I have also learnt to be consistent in activities on the platform because delay could be denial.
it kept me engaged: during the quests, the task always kept us engaged, its either you are replying to threadstorms or creating threadstorms, making lengthy posts of not less than a 1000 words, tweeting, Threading, calendar Threading and so on.
it was fun: yes, zealy campaign was fun, especially the battle with the armies, everyone was just making sure their armies won. The act of gamification by the leofinance team is such a commendable one where people have fun and still get to work hard.
it was helpful in social media: I really can't remember the last time I posted on Twitter. But for the sake of the quest, I had to tweet most of my tasks and even joined the podcasts via social media.
it helped Leo reach more people: from my observations, there where new members who came on board and also participated in the campaign. I noticed also with the introduce yourself quests, no specific number but there were new members.
What you would change? Hmmmm... I guess because any campaign of such they should taste the waters so no one is left out. I really had a hard time because the site was not conducive for mobile users and I believe I speak for many people as well.
What you would keep the same? Can the zealy campaign go on😂😂😂. Ideas like this are what pushes my kind of person to do more than my capacity. I really enjoyed the time.
In conclusion, this whole idea of the zealy campaign has in one way or another kept me active and other users. It has increased engagement level generally on the blockchain. I was surprised one time I asked a question for clarity and I got a good number of replies on the thread. I believe the zealy campaign achieved it mission.
