Yesterday I was thinking what it would mean to receive a silver gift today, on my birthday? What meaning can be attached to that? Somehow I was convinced that silver has symbolic meanings. It is not just that it shines beautifully and can increase in value. It is certainly true that over the centuries people have attached meanings to silver.
When I asked my guy what he thought, he immediately said. "Well, you don't have to look far to realize that people associate silver with loyalty and commitment. Just think of "silver wedding" when people have been married for 25 years. There are probably more things like that.
So what else could I do, other than just Google it?
It will come as no surprise to people who always give silver as gifts, but there are quite a few meanings attached to silver. I honestly don't even feel like naming and describing them all separately today. Are you crazy, it is a miracle that I even found the time to write a blog on hive on my birthday today with a special piece of silver, completely in style!
That's it again!
Today I'm looking at a piece of silver found at silvertowne mint. And as you have probably already seen, it is a nice piece of silver to give (or receive) as a gift on a birthday!
A 1 oz, .999 silver Happy Birthday Bar!
Before you start asking yourself, No, I didn't get this as a gift today. I got other things that I'm just as happy with. And I will show you what I got soon, but that is for another day. In any case, these are gifts that certainly will help me to get further with my art, and the biggest gift came from my partner. Something I didn't expect at all, but which I am very happy with because it opens the door to professional creation. A fairly new form of art for me, in which I have taken careful steps in the last few months, and in which I can now develop further.
So after writing this for me shortest blog ever it's now time for me to step away from my PC again and continue celebrating my birthday. Tomorrow is another day to be actively present... or not. LOL! We'll see
For now anyway... Happy Birthday to me!
