LEO Giveaway Twice Per Week
You can see in the latest "Weekly LEO Report" that I made a total of 195 comments. I was able to get a spot on the leaderboards with those comments and even though it's just a fraction of the amount of comments some others are doing, day after day, I was still able to produce that amount of comments while working for approximately 60 hours per week. That equates to ~27 comments per day.
#Initiative10 was all about making 10 comments per day, all in an attempt to raise awareness, stimulate engagement and boost the overall numbers. We want to look like a healthy, active and thriving community and it all starts with engagement.
You might have seen my "Let's Talk" posts, simply but an official announcement of an on-going contest I have where I give away 10 LEO per week in total. I give away 5 LEO twice per week to random users that have made a comment on any of my posts.
- In all honesty, it might be one of the easiest ways to have a chance for an extra 1 LEO. I also upvote each comment, so you will be rewarded for your efforts in one way or another..
Also, I have recently decided to reward engagement and comments more than articles (overall content within the community), so you have a good chance to earn more from comments than articles due to content being overlooked and ignored.
The "Leo Talk" posts that is being published by is a superb way to engage as well. You don't only help the community to boost the overall numbers, you also make friends, discuss and share tips & ideas within those posts.
I am likely to make some minor changes to my on-going contest going forward, as my intention with this is to have an on-going contest and move some of the amazing engagement to my content instead of having all of it within one single post.
That being said, if I was able to make almost 200 comments last week, while working for 60 hours, what is your excuse for not engaging with the most supportive & thriving community on Hive?
- Are you skeptic about engagement being one of the most vital ingredients for success?
- Are you just lazy and don't want to contribute?
- Have you stopped caring about our success?
I have decided to aim for at least 10 comments per day on average. That's a total of ~70 comments per week. Even though it might not be enough to reach the leaderboards in terms of most comments, it is a healthy amount of comments that is valuable and important for the growth and success of this community.
