As someone who wasn't into the business of creating contents from the start, after few years in it I'm beginning to get better in what I do and how I do what I do. Blogging, vlogging and content creation in general is not easy but I do believe that it is something everyone can do because it is something that requires us to be ourselves and genuine especially on web 3. So today, I'd be sharing a few tips on how you can gain visibility on your contents.
Trust me, when I started I noticed my contents were not getting as much engagements as I wanted it and that was when I started seeking for ways to change that. As a content creator, your utmost priority should be getting more people to check out what you create and if that's not there, even if you get a lot of support in it, it will come to a time when you will wish you had more people engaging on your contents than those huge rewards.
So today, I'd be sharing some really easy tips on how you can get your post to more audience as a content creator on hive, so make sure to follow up closely so you don't miss all the points...
1️⃣ First things first, Be visible
As a content creator, you don't want to just create your contents and leave, you need to be visible because that's the only way others can get to know you better outside the username you are using. People tend to engage better with you when they know you better. When they see that you show up most of the time, they will surely stop by to check out your contents. Just make sure to check out others contents and engage as much as you can.
2️⃣ Diversify and Explore
We have so many communities on hive and it will interest you to know that there are some users that are glued to a particular community and the only way you can get to know some of these users is by not being so attached to one place too. But that depends on if you want visibility or not. Some communities brings more visibility than others so it is good that you try to explore other communities every now and then.
3️⃣ Participate in contest and challenges
As much as you can, try to always participate in different contest, mini or max contest because that way you will get to meet more users too who might help you get good visibility on your blog. There are some users you get to know and you might not have problem of visibility because they are visibility themselves, hehe. So until you achieve your goal of visibility, you have to keep engaging in different contest and challenges because that has proven to be really helpful over the years.
4️⃣ Make use of leothreads
Ever since I started using inleo to promote my post, I've gotten a good number of visibility and even a few follows and I'm very sure so many people can say the same too. So if you need visibility on your post, always make sure to share your posts on threads and with time more people will get to know you better. But never share your post link in the first thread (it's an advise though not that it is impossible), it should be in the second or third preferably.
5️⃣ Always Make sure to use the right tags
So many people most times make mistakes with the tags they use and they end up losing their visibility. Whenever you create a post, make sure your first four to five tags are related to the post you've written and also make sure to spell them correctly. Some users on hive locate contents only through tags and if your tag is not correct, you will miss a lot of Opportunities.
