Binance, a top global cryptocurrency exchange, has announced the launch of a new blockchain hub in Georgia, aimed at attracting top talent to the blockchain sector, promoting digital finance education, and accelerating the adoption of cryptocurrencies in the region.
The hub is the result of successful collaboration between Binance and local public and private sector organizations.
Currently, Binance's Georgia team consists of 25 members, with plans to expand the team by the end of 2023.
The launch of the hub further highlights Binance's commitment to increasing its efforts in blockchain education and promoting the adoption of crypto in the region.
The company has established strategic partnerships and community initiatives in Georgia, such as collaborations with CityPay and the Georgian Innovation and Technology Agency, and a Binance Charity initiative focused on women's Web3 education.
Binance also organized a BNB Chain hackathon, encouraging developers to network and showcase their Web3 skills. The company has signed a memorandum of cooperation with Georgian educational institutions and will provide educational materials and support to help elevate their blockchain education programs.
