Good day, everyone, and welcome to my blog. So there is no more news on the current situation of Mexico after the death of EL Mencho who runs one of the biggest drug cartels in Mexico. The current state of Mexico is in shambles as cartels under EL Mencho have declared war on the Mexican government, as they are burning cars and putting them on the highway to disrupt public movement, and also there have been looting in some stores around the country. It is a horrible sight to watch online and I feel so sad for the Mexicans.
It was recently reported that over 800 billion dollars were removed from the US stock market since the death of EL Mencho, which is crazy because how does the death of one man cause the stock market to crash? There is an inconsistency in that report, as the probable cause would be the tariffs imposed by Trump. It was already pointed out that the US has been after EL Mencho and placed a ten-million-dollar bounty on his head for some time now. It was a strong military operation by the Mexican government to take down the cartel, but it seems their military operation has caused national unrest. It has now been a full-blown war between the military and the cartels which has turned into a blood bath.
The big question on everyone's mind now is when this disaster will come to an end because lives and properties are already lost because of this outburst from the cartels. Mexico is a country that is not doing well economically, and with this incident, it is going to take a hit on the country's economic balance. The US, which backed the military operation has yet to make a comment on the ongoing crisis but has already issued a travel warning to tourists and is ready to move US citizens within Mexico. There have been no talks on military aid to back Mexico in its hunt to control the outburst of the cartels, but we may see changes in the long run.
There is another pressing issue relating to this outburst, which is the safety of football fans in the FIFA World Cup, which is going to be held in four months. There has not been any statement from FIFA yet, but I am sure they are watching and following everything that is happening within Mexico. The best decision they can take is to carry the matches that should be played in Mexico to the US and Canada if things don't go back to normal in Mexico. It is still quite early to make any decisions regarding these matters, but as time goes on, everything will eventually be evaluated, and a decision will be made.
It is a sad period for the people in Mexico and I hope they have the strength to pass through these tough times they are facing within the country. This story is far from over so I will be following up and dropping more updates within the community. So, guys, that will be all for now. Thanks for stopping by and have a good day.
