It is no longer news that the Bittrex Exchange has filled for bankruptcy, and has notified all users of the exchange to withdraw all that they still have in the exchange before the final closure of the exchange.

And as such, hackers and scammers have taken it up to themselves to steal the funds of those that are ignorant of the news by creating a phishing clone website. The clone site prompts users to connect their wallet instead of the normal login process, and as soon as your wallet is connected your funds will be transferred to a different wallet, the scammer's wallet.
If you are the sort that does not crosscheck the URL of a site before beginning your activity there, you are vulnerable to this type of scam and you should form the habit of constantly checking the site's URL before proceeding to do whatever brought you to the site initially.
