That the river is everywhere at the same time, at the source and at the mouth, at the waterfall, at the ferry, at the current, in the ocean and in the mountains, everywhere and that the present only exists for it, not the shadow of the past nor the shadow of the future.”Herman Hesse was a prominent author oriented towards an individual's search for meaning and spirituality, which is reflected in his books such as Siddhartha or Demian. It is here in Siddhartha where the story of Buddah is given a narrative style condensing his lifetime experiences and awakening in a compelling and harmonious way. Truly rewarding to read for any curiously minded reader and full of self-reflecting ideas.
🇪🇸 Herman Hesse fué un autor muy prominente orientado hacia la búsqueda individual del sentido de la vida y la espiritualidad, lo cual se ve reflejado en sus libros como Siddharta o Demian. Es aquí en Siddharta donde se dota de un estilo narrrativo a la historia de Buda condensando sus experiencias de vida y su despertar de una forma absorbente y harmoniosa. Una lectura verdaderamente recomendada para la los lectores curiosos y repleta de autoreflexiones.
