The crypto industry has thrived outside of the government's tightly controlled system and this is making them freak out. They're lashing out at us for taking advantage of their inability to secure our own networks, but we aren't the ones who are doing anything wrong here.
We're simply using the blockchain in ways they can't control, which means everyone who had adopted cryptocurrency is no longer a slave to their monopoly.
As a result, it seems as though there's nothing the government can do about it which is making them paranoid and looking for ways to bring control to crypto. Actually, this seems to be far more difficult than they expected because blockchain is by far better than the traditional system the government created and had full control over.
To them, it seems as though their financial system has little time left before it collapses. As a matter of fact, many people believe that the government may not even have much time left to implement whatever drastic measures they have planned before the people rise up against them. And they are obviously right.
This is because, at this point, everyone has seen how ineffective and corrupt the government really is, things will get very messy indeed. But the important thing is the freedom and the control that crypto gives us over our money. That's why we need to continue supporting each other and building more tools that make the adoption of crypto easier.

As I type this, my country is messy because people have money in their banks but can't access them. They simply have to pay huge fees to those who have access to cash to be able to get their money. You can imagine owning something yet you can't access it whenever you want.
The traditional system of money is obviously a f*cked up system, and I am hoping that this difficulty that Nigerians are facing will make them realize how important it is that they adopt crypto. Cryptocurrency doesn't take away their right to spend their money.
Cryptocurrency doesn't make them stand in queues and fight over their hard-earned money. Cryptocurrency gives them a smooth ride and allows them the chance to be in charge of their resources.
The sooner my fellow Nigerians realize that all it takes is to move over to Blockchain, the quicker it will be for our government to lose control over our finances. So let's support each other on this journey and see where it leads us.
