Blockchain and crypto may become an alternative to help citizens whose countries with weaker currency to preserve the value of their assets.

It's already happening. For instance, in my country, we prefer crypto to our currency, although we have bans here and there, but the average person recognizes the possibilities that crypto brings, and the life changing opportunity it holds. So we are embracing it with all our heart regardless of the laws and restrictions placed by our government.
