Hey, Lovely readers of the Leofinance Community. I hope you all are fine and doing great in your life. This post is about the Current inflation status in Pakistan and how the government is playing the role of an ignorant.
It is the 3rd increase in the Petroleum price in 1 month and now the situation is getting out of control. Yesterday was a shutdown against this brutal inflation and Tomorrow is also a Wheel-jammed Strike.
Petrol price has increased from 200 to 306 in just one and a half months. It is not just with the petrol price, everything is feeling the impact of this rising inflation.
It has become hard to fulfil even basic necessities of life.
Electricity is one of the basic necessities of life and I think there is no point in living if we are not able to fulfil these necessities. Along with the Petroleum, the price of electricity Unit is also on the rice.
The electricity Unit was around 15 PKR a year ago and now we are forced to pay above 50 PKR per unit.
This does not end here, The government is trying to increase the price of One unit to 65 PKR. Due to this increase in unit price, Electricity bills are high as well and For the past two weeks, people have been committing suicide.
Giving you the Video link of the one case.
Even after this kind of incident, the government's behaviour is not serious and our caretaker prime minister has given a statement that,
Nothing could be achieved through these protests, you will have to pay the Electricity bills
I want to ask, A man is earning 30k A month, how he can afford to pay the bill of 40k? What about the other necessities? How they will eat? How they could pay the school fees for their kids?
The situation is getting worse here and Youngsters are trying their level best to leave this country for a better future for themselves as well as their families.
There is a report that says 62 % of the Pakistani young boys aged from 15-24 are willing to leave Pakistan.
No country can achieve developed country status without their young youth and here the government is forcing people to leave the country.
We can only hope and pray for the conditions to get sorted soon, Hopefully, things will get better.
