Hello dear friends, I am pleased to be before you with this post talking about the thread adoption campaign by the #leofinamce community on #hive.
To start with, I want to heartily appreciate the admins of the community for the enormous work they did making sure to direct the whole movement and here it is coming to an end successfully..
I must say that the launching of the new UI is awesome, the features are wonderful and as a matter of fact, very much professional like. Thus, the moderators of the community did a great job putting all that together. Kudos to you all.
Talking about my feeling about the program, I would say that it was quite very competitive and tasky. It consumed my time such that I had to put on hold some regular activities I susally do on # hive just to accommodate this program and end somewhere worthwhile.
The aspect I found more tasky is on threading a given number of threads. I really hustled to be able to make it up to 1000 threads in May. It was really tasky. I remember I sacrificed my siester and even time for meals just to meet up and and am glad I made it, hehe. Eventhough first position is very far from me but I am glad I am able to be within the range I fall.
Initially, when the program was going on, there were a lot of difficulties for so many of us especially those without a pc. Threading was hell at a point in time.threree were times you would send a thread and it will take like an hour to get indexed. At a point, I thought it was my network, but it happened to other people so I understood its the challenge with a process of building. But now, it is no longer so. The software has been goodly or very well built such that its features are fascinating and users now smile threading.
Like I said earlier, the campaign was highly competitive. I learnt a lot from this program. Even before mentioning the things I learnt, I will like to say that it brought out the me in me that I never knew, hehe. I hope you understand what I mean. Prior to the campaign, I have always thought I am not good at drawing but I did a lot of drawings during the program and they were complimented by some great minds here.
I learnt that I can gain badges by being a daily poster of long posts, I experienced the joy of posting everyday. The rewards are very encouraging.
More also, I now understand that we can share anything on thread and indeed so. It can be in form of a long form post. Or a threadstorm which is a combination of many threads as comment on one text.
The new UI now is awesome and will even be more awesome by the time more people use threads and see the beauty created in it. Personally I love the development and I am glad I participated to the end.
This is my little review of this program. I hope I made sense in what I was able to put down.
Byeeee!!
