I have decided to start posting a weekly update on my progress toward my 2023 goals here on Hive. It helps me stay on track and I can realize if I am behind on a goal at any point in time. If I am behind in any of my goals, it will allow me to make changes so I do accomplish them. As of right now, I am doing quite well and there are no issues with me being on track towards my own goals.
Progress
Above are statistics that I have gotten from HiveStats. This week was a bit better compared to the previous week and I did quite well last week.
HP
I got about the same as last week with 72 HP earned throughout the week. I am back on track after the slow results last week. My curation return is higher than before at 21 HP but I am not sure why it is so high this time around. My goal for curation is to just make sure that my voting power is never full. I was able to use up most of my voting power without any issues. The returns were about the same as last week.
HBD
I have added 26 HBD to my savings to get closer to my goal. It will compound with the rest of my HBD in my savings right now for the 20% APR. As I get closer to my HBD goal, I will stop adding as much to this goal and start using it for HP or LEO Power if I am behind. The pump in Hive has disappeared but the price is still higher than what it was before. So this goal will be easier to reach.
LEO Power
My LEO balance has gone up by 72 over the past week and I think the past week was good. Over 10 LEO a day is a great result. There are less than 2 days left until LPUD and I definitely plan on powering up a lot of LEO. I am wondering if I should buy some more LEPO just to make things safer but I think I have been doing well so far. Thus I am planning to wait a bit before buying. Being on track toward my goals is a lot and it's quite great.
Conclusion
It's been a week since my last update and I am liking my progress so far. I am still on track to my own goals and I am doing my best in regard to the HBD goal. I expect my LEO goal to go up a decent amount next week after LPUD because I plan to stake over 400 LEO. The HP goal isn't that bad but I have a feeling that this goal will be the one I need to watch. I am doing quite well so far and I think the HBD might have to go towards that HP goal later.
