It is no surprise that the world was advancing towards the ear of Artificial Intelligence (AI), judging by technological advancement some of us saw this coming. With the reality of AI dawned on us, it has been has been met with mixed reactions around the world.
Some view AI as a job disruptor, as the human workforce will be replaced in certain roles by AI, while some see AI as providing jobs and the creation of entrepreneurs in the digital space.

As far as humans are concerned, we are never too quick at being receptive to new technologies, we feel threatened by them, and oppose them before developing further curiosity to adapt and finally embracing them.
These stages of reaction towards new technologies are dependent on age as well as geographical location. We will normally have the younger generation embrace new technologies much quicker than the older generations and the more developed countries than the underdeveloped countries.
Warren Buffet's View on AI
Some of us know Warren's stance on cryptocurrency, Bitcoin in particular. It is rat poison he said and after over a decade of Bitcoin surviving everything thrown at it, Warren maintains Bitcoin is still rat poison.

"It can do all kinds of things and when something can do all kinds of things I get a little bit worried," said Buffett about artificial intelligence. "I know we won't be able to uninvent it and, you know, we did invent—for very, very good reason—the atom bomb," he noted, in what could be the most fatalistic comparison he has made since the time when he said Bitcoin was “rat poison.”

Warren compares AI to an atom bomb that can't be uninvented, like Bitcoin he doesn't appear to be on the side of AI, perhaps being an older generation is influencing his judgment.

A bit of time spent on Twitter will give of the perspective views of those adapting and embracing AI, you will be amazed that ChatGPT isn't the latest AI around but hundreds if not thousands of them are already in existence. We can easily tell the younger generation are open to AI and adapting it to areas suitable for their digital activities.
Depending on what stage each of us is with AI with regards to embracing it or not, AI has been invented, and it is here to stay, we might as well keep ourselves informed to discover areas it might be of use to us.
