Last night on Thursday Night Live, we spoke about a lie that's been plaguing the online business world for years....
It goes something like this:
"Hey newbie entrepreneur! You are going to get rich in 30 days and make hundreds of thousands of dollars without any effort on your part....Just buy this product now!"
I'm sure you are familiar with it...
The pitch usually is...
Big goals. Big numbers. And big dreams!
All designed to do one thing and one thing only, to separate you from your hard earned money.
I have no problem with big goals, I write down mine each and every day and to be honest, some of them are quite 'large'. However my argument is that online entrepreneurs would achieve much more and succeed in their endeavours if we stopped focusing on the big, out of reach goals at first...And concentrate on the small achievable ones that would keep us fired up.
Think about this...
Most new entrepreneurs come online and hear these big claims and think they are going to achieve them. They end up spending a small fortune on 'Magic Project X' and put in the work. Weeks go by that turn into months and they have nothing to show for it.
Because it's taught to them in these high ticket programs....Sell once to one person, and you are set!
I hate to be the one to say it, but new entrepreneurs aren't the best marketers and salesmen or women. I'm not saying they can't reach amazing statues and achieve big things...But we all suck when we first start!
So the entrepreneur gets fed up, feels discouraged and ends up quitting Magic Project X...And have a bad taste in their mouth forever when it comes to online business.
Here's 5 'small wins' I think entrepreneurs can focus on, to see daily results in their online businesses. And the by-product of these small wins, keeps you fired up, motivated and inspired to keep growing and building your business....
Make A Post On The Blockchain
One of the main reasons I love this blockchain is because it's tailor made for online entrepreneurs. We're told to go build a blog, so why not create content right here on this exciting new platform? Side benefit...You plug into a community and get some tokens in the process. I don't know about you, but if I even saw 1 dollar come in from my business when I got started, I would have been jumping for joy. This blockchain provides that opportunity for a small win, each day!

Build A New Relationship
This is another byproduct of showing up, creating and commenting on the blockchain. But don't just limit yourself to that. It's a big world out there, with tons of communities and tribes to plug right into. Remember, as an entrepreneur your job is to get people to know, like and trust you so...Get out there and get more people to know, like and trust you! Your network ends up becoming your net worth!
1 New Subscriber A Week / Day
All online entrepreneurs should be building a mailing list. I know lots of people will say email marketing is dead, but that just isn't the case. And your biggest asset when building an online business ends up being your...Customer / contact list. So make it a goal to get 1 new person on your mailing list a week. Once you've mastered that, shoot for 1 person a day. Don't worry about building a list of 10,000 people..Just focus on 1 person at a time!
Invest In Yourself
Make self development a priority in your daily life. If you invest an hour a day becoming a student of your chosen niche or industry, imagine where you will be in a year from now. Lots of the success gurus out there tell you that you should invest 10% of your income into self development, and I couldn't agree more. Become a lifelong student and read more books, listen to more podcasts, attend more seminars and watch your wins start to really add up.
