Amados por un grupo, y odiados por otro, los curadores en Hive son pilar fundamental y mediadores del pozo de recompensas. Entre sus responsabilidades, la principal es alocar el pozo de recompensas de la manera más efectiva posible a través del voto descentralizado. En la practica, toda cuenta que posea Hive Power tiene el derecho de repartir recompensas dentro de la cadena a través del voto, ergo, todos somos curadores. Sin embargo en esta entrada vamos a hacer el enfoque hacia los curadores que colaboran en proyectos oficiales de curación.
Un proyecto de curación, es una iniciativa que generalmente está respaldada por ballenas que otorgan poder de voto, para que este sea usado de la manera más adecuada posible. En estos proyectos su característica principal es que la curación es manual, por lo tanto un grupo de personas con distintos criterios son las encargadas de seleccionar las publicaciones que más se adecuen a los requisitos de cada proyecto. Entre los proyectos de curación más relevantes están OCD, LeoFinance, y Aliento del lado hispano, entre otros.
A pesar de que cada curador tiene un enfoque personal a la hora de seleccionar contenidos, todos deben tener un criterio estándar y objetivo para con los usuarios que desarrollan contenido en las distintas comunidades. En esta entrada conoceremos tres:

Este criterio es el más obvio. Ciertamente un curador se enfoca principalmente en separar la paja del trigo y encontrar esos diamantes escondidos, además de tomarse el trabajo extra de asegurarse que vuestros contenidos cumplan con el buen uso de material, y por supuesto, sean originales y no tomados de otras fuentes.
2. Interacciones con otros usuarios
Aunque ustedes no lo crean, los curadores verifican que el usuario esté interactuando en otros contenidos, además de ver si se responden comentarios en sus propios blogs. La interacción es pilar fundamental para mantener el ecosistema activo y lleno de vida. Un lugar sin interacciones es uno sin vida, y desierto. Es por eso que ese valor agregado que tiene el comentario, podría ser tomado en cuenta, inclusive más que la calidad de tu contenido.
3. Desenvolvimiento general en Hive
Muchos usuarios, sobre todo los nuevos, cuestionan y se preguntan porqué determinado autor recibe recompensas a pesar de que la calidad de sus contenidos no es la mejor comparado con el de otros. La respuesta está en el buen desenvolvimiento que se pueda tener, tanto dentro como fuera de la cadena. Es una suma de todo. Hive es una blockchain en donde la mayoría del trabajo se hace de manera voluntaria, y en muchas ocasiones hasta gratuita. 3. Overall performance in Hive
Many users, especially newcomers, question and wonder why certain authors receive rewards even though the quality of their content is not the best compared to others.
