People tend to stick to something especially if it works for them in the first place, this includes limiting their interactions or engagement to a certain people, especially if they're whales, bringing a specific kind of content wanted by these people especially if they noticed that these people rewarded a certain kind of content they're posting.
The tend to buy the ideas of these People, promote it like a vendetta and create a faction in the blockchain. Some even go as far as doing the mathematics of "the enemy of my friend is my enemy" without taking time to establish their ideas themselves, they allow the veil of money close their intuitiveness making them too dependent and of course this is what i'll call ass-licking 2.0.
Sometimes reality doesn't sell, sentiment does, money buys loyalty, it creates oligarch mindset and tendencies and it creates a flawed society, where people allows their craving for wealth do their thinking. You wouldn't say this isn't rampant.
Sometimes we buy the truth but it doesn't set us free. Nevertheless I want to cut us some slack. Take a look at most government of the world, the logo is; if you can't beat them, then join them. Inasmuch as this tries to wipe our people who are true and honest, I think it's sort of establishing a world where people would sell their self esteem in hope for a few clicks of upvotes.

The reason why we often believe the thoughts of others are right without evaluating them is because we often feel too indebted to them to put our perceptive filters to play and weigh the rightness or wrongness of what they have said. Take a look at crypto.
Its changing the lives of people yet the mindset of poverty and scarcity will still remain with a lot of people no matter the amount of wealth they have.
I've have seen people who have the prospect to be their own people yet they prefer being too dependent. They prefer buying into the growth of whales so as to earn a few votes here and there but then they'll not buy into Cubs or maybe leo or try to look outwardly to grow other streams of income for themselves.
Its more than pathetic, but then true freedom is when you work hard to stay independent of people. This gives you the ability to establish a voice. I don't claim to know what hive needs, but its obvious, CHANGE. so what kind of change? I think people needs to change inwardly and when they do, they'll change outwardly.
The witness votes, the DHF funding that is voted for, the concept of reward system and an overhaul of a lot of mentality. Personally I dislike the herd mentality; I know people establishing proxies, a faith in others who can never go wrong but when we begin to question and criticise the actions of people who we think are always 100% correct that is when we begin to have true freedom from dependency.

A few others have easily sold their loyalty for a click of "auto-votes", a few others don't even support a quality post because their Oligarch group don't do so, you see mutes and clicks and unsolicited downvotes and of course aggrandised criticisms. "The right thing" is different from what is factual.
Sometimes to establish sanity we need to stop following the "truth" of others and establish what is more factual. But then its the human society. Off and on the internet is almost the same.
Nevertheless I won't compare myself to someone who is saving their money in the bank and refusing to buy into crypto, this is because I deem myself to have seen or taken a peak to the future of finance, hence, the same goes for everyone of us here, hustling and trying to make a better future. Strive for true independence this is what wealth is all about.
