Hello all Savers. Hope you had a good week of saving and investing. It's been chilly here all last week with storms. We even had a tornado wreck havoc. It's terrifying during the summer and fall. But during a rare winter tornado is an added dread.
I leave here my savings progress report for February:

AM I READY FOR MONEY?
The answer is a definite "YES". Not only am I ready for the time I come into possession of the amount of funds I wish, I've already got a 5-year plan. I've had this plan for many years. I adjust as the needs and circumstances change.
For example, my plan depends on the type of funds received, whether liquid or coins.
But here's my plan:
Onboard those who need to know. My children are already onboard with my plan. Due to my current age, coming into possession of a large sum of money is not advantageous for me. I'd need to consult first with my accountant and attorney to determine how best to acquire the money with reduction in my tax burden always at the forefront.
Divide and conquer. My plan is to divide any money received into sizeable portions for family on my list.
Save. Always save first an agreed-upon percentage based on total amount received. Different type saving vehicles (short and long term) to ensure I have enough liquid on hand whenever needed within 1 - 3 days.
Invest. I'm no stranger to investments, both short and long term. Fear of losing money: not me. With investments in mind spread around to reduce my risk, I'll be in a position to sit back and see my funds grow even bigger. Definitely will invest a certain percentage in crypto platforms.
Give to the needy. This includes child hunger/poverty, women/teen advocacy agencies, and environmental safety groups. This also includes the projects: Kids In Need of DESKS (KIND), Heifer International, and Microfinance loans to women.
Power up my Hive account. I want to reach a position to help members who may truly be in need. Haven't figured out yet how to accomplish this. Any suggestions appreciated.
Finally, I'll purchase a vacation home and retire there. It may be hard to find a location where hurricanes, tornadoes, tsunamis, winter storms, mudslides, or deadly fires may visit. I may just hold onto that portion of the money and give to someone else who don't mind dealing with these natural disasters.
Take care everyone and have a good rest of your weekend.
