I like to go and take the dog for a spin in different areas. For some reason when I was living abroad I was always on the hunt for learning new stuff around me, no matter how far or how closeby it was. But here back in Holland this is just the place where I live and sometimes I just need a kick in the ass to get some exploring motivation going.
For that reason it is always good to meet up with friends who live a bit further away and let them guide you what there is to find in their area.
So this is the 'Herpense Heide' still in the Southern part of Holland where it turns out to actually look like the french Dunes in the Bordeux area, just with different temperatures. Not that the dog minded this, he thrives a lot better in lower temperatures since he has some Swiss Alpine blood in there.
Speaking of dogs....
Unless you haven't opened any crypto kind of feed you must have noticed that there was a lot to do around the dog-meme tokens the last couple of days.
Nobody really knows what aside from hype is driving these tokens to moon so much. And when hype is public, more people tend to jump in and follow the hype creating an even bigger hype.
I guess one of the biggest anti's from people against these tokens is that they don't really have any use case. But let's be a bit realistic and look at some other tokens around, there are so many things that have zero usecase or have an entirely copied protocol or whitepaper but are still booming. To me this doesn't make any difference.
Maybe these tokens are like the sand dunes here in the picture which are the equivalent of nothing with just sand, dust and pinetrees there. But also like these sand dunes they aren't special but still beautiful.
What is kind of annoying is that the booming of these tokens made the market with more decent tokens kind of stagnant because all the money was flowing elsewhere.
But on the other hand again, these kinds of hypes make retail jump in with the 'but...but....if shiba inu goes to a dollar I will be a millionaire' and this is a way where a lot of people do actually jump in. Because of the hype.
If this is good for the space an mass adoption when people get super wrecked you can also debate about that.
Should we try to make a 'wooden owl' token as well? With the ticker OWL and just make it super fast and hype it up all the way into space?
That the Herpense Dunes turn into a spot where the owl of owls from the token has it's statue when people come to worship their owl-savior?
I really don't know if this is all bad or good for the space, what I do know is that it isn't sustainable. So let's get back to tokens with a use case and let dogs run in the dunes again with a physical meaning versus that they have turned into a meme, shall we?
